I write to inform or tell a story, driven by curiosity about people, places or events. As I research a subject, the picture becomes clearer; like a Polaroid photo slowly revealing its detail. It is this thrill of discovery that makes writing a joy and a challenge.
Similarly, I seek to tell a story with my pictures; to communicate to the viewer the same sense of wonder, emotion or beauty that I experienced in capturing the subject with my lens.
